Senior D365FO Functional Consultant/Product Expert - Contracts & Billing

Senior ERP Functional Consultant / Product Expert with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise to support and evolve a complex ERP environment focused on contracts and billing processes wanted! This position combines functional consulting, product ownership, and ERP process expertise , acting as the key link between business stakeholders, product management, and development teams. The role is mostly remote within Germany , with occasional travel to the office a few times per month . Tasks Your Role You will contribute across the full ERP product lifecycle , from requirements analysis and functional design to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. Functional Consulting & Business Analysis Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional ERP solutions Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops and collaborate with stakeholders Ensure ERP processes align with operational and business needs Product Expertise & Solution Ownership Act as the functional product expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 within the contracts and billing domain Support the evolution and optimization of ERP functionality related to contract management Provide expertise on document generation and output management through LaserNet integration Functional Design & Documentation Produce and maintain Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Functional Design Documents (FDD) ( mandatory ) Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of solutions Change Management & Backlog Coordination Assess and refine change requests submitted via Azure DevOps Evaluate feasibility, organizational impact, and priority for implementation Contribute to backlog planning and release preparation Testing & Quality Assurance Create and execute functional test cases Perform end-to-end testing based on functional documentation Validate new features and system changes prior to release Support & Operat
